Education Section Overview and Functions
The Education Section is a very important part of the DIYRM website as each of its Modules not only provides important Reverse Mortgage educational information but also serves as a subliminal sales-point presentation that assists the Registered User (RU) to transition from an interested party/suspect to a qualified Reverse Mortgage prospect.
The Educational Section is intended to be easy to use, engaging, fun and educational. Again, there is no need for processing speed in this Section.
The RU can listen to each module via audio via AI generated voices that in affect reads the Module's content and/or by the RU reading the module's content themselves.
For audio learning modules, the "best" English accent is generally a clear, neutral, and widely understood one like General American English, known in linguistics simply as General American (abbreviated GA or GenAm), which is the umbrella accent of American English used by a majority of Americans.
The average American adult reads at a speed of approximately 200 to 300 words per minute (wpm) for non-technical, everyday content.
Adjusting for the Educational Section's type of content, the expected age of the RU and the Comprehension Check Questions (CCQ) the wpm to be used is 180 or 3 words per second.
The "voices" used should be a male voice for Module 1, then female for Module 2 then male and female alternating ending with a male voice for Module 7.
Again, the RU is in control of how fast they review the Module's content. Once the Module's audio presentation ends (if it was selected), or if not selected, post the message at the end of the Module's content: "If you have finished reviewing this Module, for this Modules Comprehension Check Questions please CLICK here".
Present the CCQs. At the bottom of the Modules content.
Once the RU decides that their CCQ answers are what they want, below the CCQs post the message: "When you are ready to have your answers scored, Click SUBMIT. SUBMIT (button)"
If all 4 CCQ's were answered correctly the first attempt present the success message Your score is 100% and you have successfully completed this Module. For the next Module, CLICK HERE (for Modules 1 – 6)
If the RU scores 3 correct CCQ's present the missed CCQ and indicate via highlighting the correct answer for their viewing and then wait 5 seconds and present the message Your score is 75%. Please review the incorrect answer above and the highlighted correct answer and once reviewed, you have successfully completed this Module. For the next Module, CLICK HERE . (for Modules 1 – 6)

Now that you have completed the Do-IT-Yourself Reverse Mortgage™ Educational Section, when you revisit the website and Log In you will have the option to go immediately to the Reverse Mortgage Simulator™ Section.
If you want to or need to review any of the Educational Modules, click on the upper menu bar link and you can review the Modules without any Comprehension Check Questions.

If the RU answers zero (0) CCQ's correctly, 1 correct CCQ or 2 correct CCQs, then post a message "Your score is (zero, 25% or 50% so please CLICK here to take the Comprehension Check again" then re-present the CCQs for that Module again in a new random order for another attempt, including any CCQs they answered correctly (hopefully to be answered correctly again….).
If after two attempts they have not reached the 3 or 4 correct answer level, then have them review the Module's content again (via audio or reading) by posting the message "Please Click here to review the Modules Content Again", then jump them back up to the top of the module for them to start over just like the 1st pass with the removal of the CCQs.
